The cottage was beautiful, and in an idyllic setting, and the welcome pack of chocolates, wine, milk, and even treats for the dogs. They had thought of everything. Our two westies had a ball, wandering around the garden, or running in the field. The owners were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. The surrounding area is marvelous, with lots of walks, and we didn't have to drive far to reach any places we wished to visit. Overall we would definitely recommend Satinwood Barn. Mrs S, PERTH 24 May 2010
A wonderful, relaxing holiday - comfortable, welcoming, dog friendly, and the owners could not have been more helpful. Set in not only a beautiful part of the country, but also so accessible to many places of interest. We would certainly go back again! Mrs W, RUGELEY, Staffordshire 09 March 2010
My boyfriend and I chose Satinwood Barn for our Valentines retreat, and it was perfect for the 2 of us (and our boxer dog). The cottage was the best decorated cottage that I have ever stayed in, with many beautiful furnishings, many I would have loved to have taken home! This cottage was cosy, well equipped with a thoughtful welcome pack of strawberries, cream choccies and a pint of milk - a home from home. The owner was approachable, friendly and welcoming - a real genuine, down to earth man. We would highly recommend this cottage to our friends, family, and to any couple that would like a quiet get away in lush surroundings. Great value for money! Miss H, LONDON, England 20 February 2010
Satinwood Barn had fantastic views and came with the highest standard. Excellent decor and extremely clean, owners were friendly and the first impression was one that took your breath away. The amount of detail and character enclosed in the Barn was a credit to the owner who had done most of the work. The cleanliness was amazing, so much care had obviously gone into making sure you felt as though you were in a 5 star hotel. Would recommend with the highest recommendation Ms L, Brackley, Northamptonshire 19 September 2009

A wonderful cottage of the highest standard I have been in. Very friendly and thoughtful owners and situated in the heart of the countryside but only 5 minutes to local towns. The cottage has its own private enclosed garden which is great when taking a dog with you. Highly recommended and we will be going back! Mr S, NORWICH, 21 April 2009
This cottage is first class. It is situated quite near to a main road but the surrounding area is beautiful with two horses in the opposite field. Mrs B, Winsford, Cheshire 13 September 2008
